◆ Lab Overview

Primary concerns of our group lie in fundamental understanding of the interfacial and transport phenomena, leading to next-generation functional electrochemical device. We have special interests in (1) design and preparation of materials for high performance energy conversion devices such as batteries, capacitors, and fuel cells. (2) analysis of their degradation mechanism using a variety of the electrochemical techniques, and (3) modeling and simulation of the electrochemical behavior including interfacial reactions & atom/ion transport.

- Development of high capacity & high power flexible anode foe rechargeable lithium battery.

- Analysis and control of electrochemical metal deposition process in aqueous and molten salt environments.
